Low Stock Badge Privacy Policy
Low Stock Badge is a stock-status indicator for store product pages, supplied by Multiverse.
Data accessed
To determine whether the badge should appear, the application may handle store and app instance identifiers, product and selected-variant identifiers, quantity-tracking status, and inventory quantities. The site component submits an authenticated request to the app's backend, where stock data is checked through the platform.
Purpose and disclosure
Stock data is used to return only one of three results: low stock, sold out, or hidden. The public response does not include exact inventory quantities. The app does not change inventory or checkout and does not sell merchant or visitor information.
Storage and service providers
The current application code does not intentionally store stock quantities, customer records, or visitor identities in a separate application database. Hosting and API processing occur on the platform's infrastructure; operational request metadata may be handled under that provider's own privacy policy. The app does not intentionally send stock data to third-party advertising or analytics services.
Retention, access, and rights
The app makes transient checks when the widget is displayed or its variant changes. No application-database retention of requested stock quantities is configured. Requests related to personal data or this app's handling can be sent to the contact below. Site owners remain responsible for their own visitor privacy notices where legally required.
